How Does It Feel?
In powder form, it’s a soft pale yellow. Add water or facial oil and it transforms into a rich, warm ochre paste that glides on like velvet. Once rinsed, skin feels calm, soft, nourished, and beautifully refreshed — never tight or dry.
How Does It Smell?
Naturally gentle and herbaceous — a soft, comforting aroma from chamomile and oats themselves. No added fragrances.

Each jar contains 5–8 applications.
How to Use
Mix 1 teaspoon of Clay Mask Tonic with ½ teaspoon of water, adding drops of water (or a facial oil) until it becomes a smooth, creamy paste. Apply evenly to the face, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 5–10 minutes only, then rinse gently with warm water. Follow with your favourite facial oil or moisturiser. Use up to 2–3 times per week. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
This Clay Mask Tonic powder is waterless, so we don’t have to add unnecessary preservatives to your skincare. Once a mask is made, you must use it immediately; do not keep it for a later application.
Tip for a Spa-Soft Ritual
Add a few drops of our Astrologer Facial Oil Elixir when mixing your mask for extra nourishment. After rinsing, massage a generous layer of The Astrologer Elixir into your skin for 3–5 minutes to complete a soothing at-home facial. (Please note: The Astrologer Elixir is not included, but both products can be purchased together in the Astrologer Facial Care Bundle.)

Kaolin Clay
Properties; helps control oiliness without excessively drying the skin, it supports hydration and gentle exfoliation. Suitable for all skin types
French Yellow Clay
Properties; said to be a gentle exfoliator, a detoxifier, and supports hydration and moisturisation. Particularly helpful for dry and sensitive skin.
Chamomile Powder
Properties; known to soothe sensitive skin, reduce redness and hyperpigmentation in irritated or acne-prone skin, and speed up skin regeneration. It is a powerful anti- inflammatory, anti-oxidant and an antimicrobial .
Colloidal Oat Powder
Properties; helps to soothe the skin and helps to retain moisture due to its moisturising properties. It also helps to reduce skin inflammation and irritation, making it an ideal choice for those with dry, itchy and sensitive skin, such as skin prone to psoriasis and eczema.
Cucumber Powder
Properties; can help to reduce puffiness and dark circles under the eyes, and is rich in antioxidants which can help to reduce the signs of aging. Cucumber is also a natural astringent, helping to cleanse and tone the skin, reduce inflammation, and fight bacteria. It can help to soothe and refresh the skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple.
Aloe Vera Powder
Properties; known for its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and moisturising properties. Aloe vera has been proven to reduce acne, reduce fine lines and provide deep hydration to the skin. It can also help to reduce redness and irritation, as well as fade age spots and blemishes. Aloe vera has the ability to help restore the skin's natural balance and provide essential nutrients to keep it looking healthy and youthful.
Vitamin C
Properties; known to brighten, repair, and smooth the skin as well as stimulate the growth of collagen. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and helps protect against damage from free radicals as well as reduce inflammation and redness.
