How Is It Made?
Airmid’s Herbs is created using traditional full-moon herbal infusions, honouring old-world practices and slow, intentional skincare craft. Dried Plantain, Nettle, and Chickweed are immersed in organic Apricot Oil on the night of a full moon, then infused for one complete lunar cycle. The oil is strained on the following full moon, blended with soothing, regenerative plant oils, extracts and waxes, and gently transformed into a rich, botanical salve. Each jar celebrates the powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and skin-restorative nature of these heritage herbs.

How to Use
Massage a very thin layer directly onto skin, applying as needed throughout the day. A little goes a long way Not for children 3 years and under. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. We recommend a small patch test on calm, happy skin before applying.

What’s in a Name?
Airmid is known as the Celtic Goddess of Herbalism. She is found in Irish and Scottish mythology and plays the role of healer and keeper of herbal knowledge. As this salve is handmade from an old family recipe created by Nana Kat, the herbalist in the family, “Airmid’s Herbs” felt like the perfect name to honour both the lineage of traditional plantcraft and the gentle potency inside every jar.

Our Salve is carefully hand-crafted in our Apothecary by an artist, a plant lover and a herbalist on the east coast of Scotland. We are a plant-based skincare family-run business. All of our packaging, papers/cards are recyclable/biodegradable or reusable. We do not use 'single-use' plastics.

Our daughter has had a terrible time this past year with breakouts on her hands, with skin cracking and bleeding, especially around finger joints….. even typing at work has been painful!! All the doctors can provide is the usual steroidal rubbish that you can only use for short periods….. the new Airmid’s soothing botanical salve had an almost instantaneous effect, as within hours her skin had softened, especially around the cracked and bleeding finger joints!! I got this as a Christmas present and it's a life saver!
With the cold temperatures my skin gets super dry so I've been putting it on everywhere: hands, face, back, knees, elbows...
It soothes the skin immediately and I only need to apply it once after washing for my skin to stay hydrated.
And it also smells amazing!

This wonderful salve came quickly and in the most beautiful packaging and with a lovely note. I have psoriasis and it is very itchy, this beautiful salve soothed it instantly. This along with some special internal probiotics are clearing it up, within a week to 10 days it is so much better and only itches occasionally and when it does or feels dry then I apply the salve. I've been using the salve on some dry, red patches of skin on my face. It's really light and soothing and has done an amazing job of clearing it up. It works really quickly too.
