How Does Oil Cleansing Skin?
Oil cleansing follows the simple but powerful principle that “like dissolves like.” Natural oils gently break down makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum—lifting impurities away without drying or irritating your skin - no tight or stripped feeling. (But don't worry, you won't feel oily after rinsing)
How Does It Feel?
Silky, nourishing, and comforting. It glides across the skin effortlessly, then transforms into a soft milky texture when mixed with water—rinsing away clean without any residue. (thanks to our plant based emulsifier)

How to Use
Massage a small amount gently onto dry skin -can be used on eyelids. Wet your hands and massage again to transform the oil into a soft, milky cleanser. Rinse with warm water or remove with a warm, damp cloth. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Follow with a facial oil or moisturiser of your choice
What’s in a Name?
Beira, one of the oldest figures in Scottish folklore, is the ancient Spirit of Winter and a powerful creator goddess. Though fierce in legend, she is also a guardian of transformation, renewal, and rebirth. We named this cleanser after Beira because it reflects her tales, transformation, washing away the old, and revealing fresh, renewed skin beneath.

It began around a kitchen table, where a family of artists, plant lovers and a medical herbalist shared a cuppa tea and a simple question: could skincare return to nature?
When our teen daughters first wandered into the world of expensive skincare bottles and glossy promises, we looked closer at the ingredients and felt a quiet shock. So much of it felt distant from the earth. With the wisdom of Nana Kat, our herbalist grandmother, and the memory of growing up close to the land, we chose a different path — one rooted in folk herbalism, love of the land and old knowledge.
Today, we craft natural, ethical and mindful skincare by hand in small batches, inspired by folklore and the healing language of plants.
Each bottle is made with gratitude, as we channel the plant lovers who came before us, the herbalist Nicholas Culpeper, the Celtic mythological healer, Airmid, and yes, perhaps a hint of Luna Lovegood.

I have been using this cleanser for months now and it's by far the best thing I've ever put on my skin. As I get older I can't be bothered wearing make up every day so I like to take care of my skin and the difference I've noticed using this cleanser is amazing. My skin is so soft and clear. I love that it gently exfoliates your skin and nothing has ever left my face feeling so clean. I generally don't use any other products on my face anymore because I'm getting on so well using this. Love it.
This is my second product from Nana Kats (I also have The Seer oil) and I love them both equally, and as a pair...perfect!
The cleanser oil feels amazing and as it turns to milk, it removes all traces of makeup and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and so soft.
You only need a few drops too which makes it great value for money.

I discovered Beira’s Charm by chance in a school tombola and it’s transformed my skin. After 6 months using it with The Kelpie toner and The Astrologer moisturiser, my breakouts (especially hormonal) are rare, and my sensitive, dry skin is hydrated and calm. They smell gorgeous, are all-natural, and plastic-free. I often skip makeup now. A thoughtful, effective trio I’d recommend to anyone — I wouldn’t change a thing!
